Is Google Panda 3.3 Eradicating SEO?

by Anne Austin

One month following Google Panda 3.3 being launched, millions of web sites which got penalised by Google are nowhere to be obtained in search results. With this happening, business owners pose a sound question: is search engine optimisation still a dependable option among business services online?

How did Google Panda 3.3 kick out enormous number of websites from top ranking positions? Google Panda 3.3 got smarter regarding how websites are producing back-links. Even those that make use of content but then produce links using low quality SEO articles disseminated in mass by article distribution service or networked blogs got penalised.

Website owners should not feel dispirited about the truth that Google is actually changing its algorithm. Google's job is to maintain the web clean from any mess. This can be a tough job to do considering that there are millions of web sites out there. Earlier, Google only penalised web sites that engaged in link buying in an attempt to control PageRank. Nowadays, Google got smarter and reviewed links which come from poor quality content.

Given this relentless change of Google's algorithm, the overall feeling is that internet marketers, even those businesses which spend money on internet marketing by means of website creation plus optimisation, appear to be playing a risky and unstable game. should they stop doing this?

The answer is no. The web continues to be a greatly leverageable place in particular for start-ups and SMEs who have low capitalisation and yet a very good product to offer its market.

Business owners haven't any reason to be troubled. Despite Google altering its algorithms many times over, being aligned with Google ensures business owners that they will get premium customers as well. These are people who are earnest about availing their products and services, and not just persons who are looking for information.

How then should business owners align with Google? It starts from the very moment when they are just conceptualising their web sites. Business and website owners should keep in mind that Google wants top quality, relevant content for its site visitors. In web design, having no content and all images on the home page is not a good way of giving Google a visibility of the website. Putting flash elements which Google is just not able to crawl is also not a sound way to let Google be familiar with what the site is about.

Even as Google demands better quality in web sites, website owners must abide by with this raise in the bar. After all, there is nothing wrong about being the best website, in Google and your prospective customers' eyes.
