The number of devices listed on one account is not limited at all. However, they must be broken into tracking groups of twenty or less to make communications more efficient. There may be as many groups as necessary.

Supervisors can choose between several different communication options within the groups. A message may be sent to an individual or to the whole bunch. Tracking operates the same way. It is not necessary to locate every device if only one is desired.

One thing that can be of importance is that all employees be made aware that there is a tracking device on their handset. They will not be alerted in any way when an administrator decides to locate them. Letting them know that the capability is there and will be used without their knowledge may prevent any future conflicts over privacy invasion issues.

Although this tool is a GPS based application, all the phones do not need to be enabled with the global positioning service. On the supervisor's device, each device will be represented by a numbered icon on a map. A shadow around the symbol will indicate how accurately the location depicted.

Using the workforce locator system has many more advantages and is a great time saving tool. The efficiency of any mobile team may be improved without the need for costly IT departments. Now it is easier than ever to keep up with employees and communicate important information with no need to return to the office first.
