Writing sales copy can be downright hard when you don't know the ins and outs of it. You can make the process easier, however, if you just get your prospects involved. If you don't involve your prospect, then you'll have a hard time reaching him or her. You'll want to be positive in your questioning, but you'll simply be asking them about the problems they're having. They must be able to answer affirmatively with every question you throw at them. This makes it easier for them to say yes when it comes to buying your product.

Depending on who you talk to, there's an argument against shortening or elongating your copy. The longer copy seems to be favored by most of them, however, because they just say it works better. However, it's not a bad idea to do both in your ventures. You could always put all of your details in one long letter, and then you could create a shorter letter that people can read better. If you can let your customers choose, then they'll respond to you better. If you want to go a more advanced way, then you can also make a video out of your sales copy, which would solve the whole long/short copy problem. A video is always received better than plain copy and you'll lure your prospects in even further.

Don't be frightened of peppering your copy with a little bit of humorous banter. People reading your copy, want the information about your product, but they certainly don't want to get bored with it. If you can spice up your copy, your prospects will get the info they want but they'll actually like reading what you've written. Don't get too serious as that might do more harm than good. You should disperse professionalism and your sense of humor evenly throughout your sales copy for the best results.

In short, copywriting is a skill that needs to be learned over time. Use the methods you just read about and you'll become great at it in no time.
