James Malinchak's Improve Your Story, Change Your Life

Everyone has a story. However, how you tell that story and how you stay in the story affects your everyday life. Consider what's the same old story that you've been repeating for years. You know, your story and how your still in that story is the reason that you haven't quite reached your goals yet. Well, I've got news for you. If you would like change your life, change your business, and grow your earnings, then you have to change the ending to your tired, old story. Whatever excuses you have been making up to this point as to why you cannot achieve a better life and a higher income, well that's old news. You must get rid of it.

Let's be realistic, your back story is your back story. It does not have to be your story now. If you always concentrate on the excuse why you cannot have a better life, you will never find the solution for how you can achieve greater wealth. It is time to change the ending to your old story. It is time to let go of the excuses and get rid of the garbage. Today you can start a new ending to your story. You can begin a prosperous ending to the story. Moreover, the new ending is going to propel you to higher income levels.

Allow me to give you an example. Julie Marie Carrier is now known as a successful national speaker for young girls, teens, as well as women. She's a positive role model for success, and she teaches young women to accept themselves as a BeYOUtiful woman. However, there was a time where Julie wasn't as successful. Despite having a wonderful message to share with the world, she didn't have the tools to market herself so that businesses and organizations that would want to hire her can find her. Therefore, Julie's story was that she was struggling to make ends meet. She was frustrated economically so much that she, literally, needed to look under the couch cushions to find bus fair.

If Julie had kept her story the same, she would be saying, "I am a struggling speaker who is so broke I am looking for change under the cushions." However, I taught her to change her story so that it was a story of her past. Once she changed her story, she started acting like a well paid speaker and she began being hired as a well paid speaker. She started saying, "I was a struggling speaker, so passionate about girls, teens, and young women having a positive role model that I literally invested every dime into my mission. I was so passionate and so invested in this mission, I literally had looked under the couch cushions at one point to have bus fare. That passion led me to where I am today, a successful speaker who is a positive role model for teens, tweens, and young women."

Listening to Julie's story, you can hear the difference. Her back story is the same, however, her change in her story to make the struggle a part of her past allowed her to create it the present. Therefore, I recommend that you rewrite the ending to your old story. I suggest you stop making excuses. Take responsibility for your present and your future. Start speaking positively about your future and take action to make it come true by looking for solutions that you can take into action today.
