The law of our land would never hesitate to convict anyone who violates it that is why there are celebrities that went to jail. Usually, the celebrities would be in jail for common reasons. These reasons may include illegal possession of firearms and drugs, as well as too much alcohol intake and improper decorum. It sometimes hurt us to hear our favorite stars going to jail on some offense that they have committed. This is ironic for some since they see their idols as their role models which they admire for being great actors. However, these celebrities are also human and can be prone to committing mistakes at times.

Illegal drugs and driving without license are some of the reasons why she was put to jail for many times already.

* Top 3: Lindsay Lohan Lindsay has had so many movies and shows because she was totally famous and was idolized by so many people. Some of her movies included Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, and Herbie. The sweet Lohan went to jail because she was under illegal drugs when she was driving and was caught by the authorities.

* Top 4: Whitney Houston The singer and superstar once had a family friendly show and during that show she chewed crack which is why she was put to jail. Of course the consequence of her action was to be in jail. She literally took illegal drugs in front of everyone on the show.

* Wesley Snipes Rank Five This time, Snipes had a different kind of issue as to why he was put to jail. He was not convicted because of faulty driving or reckless behavior while driving. Nevertheless, the reason for his conviction was failure to pay his tax. This superstar definitely has to suffer about 3 years of being imprisoned just because of failure to pay.
