The board game Risk seriously isn't for the faint of heart. The game begins with players rolling a die to ascertain which order any open countries are initially claimed. The Highest die roll is how a player is selected to opt for her territory to start with, followed by the second highest roll, and then on to third etc. When all the open territories have been dealt out, each person can position a soldier of their chosen playing color on their territory. Each territory also has a playing card that represents it, that will be used to decide which participants possess which countries.

Once the game has started, all players try to capture as many territories as they can by destroying the opposition during the attack period of their go. Attacking is of course just as large a part of the overall game as defence is! Each player must command his or her armies to prevent the other players from seizing their territory. The last player standing wins.

Similar to any game of worth, Risk lets the gamer to learn new skills and tactics all the time. Rarely are two rounds ever moderately similar to each other.

While risk could appear dull for the Ps3 crew, a difficult game could be surprisingly addictive for those who love strategy games and solving puzzles. What's more, competing in a friendly environment with friends is a winning formula for people from any background or age bracket.
