New York Bully Crew Urges Its Followers and Friends to Take Notice of Animal Rescue

The massive devastation dished out by Hurricane Sandy has largely impacted the east coast with strong winds and rain. New Yorkers continue to feel the hurt and are faced with the difficult challenges ahead of them. Their problems range from power outages, destruction of property and, in some cases, home evacuations. Among the many groups of New Yorkers who are bearing the brunt of the storm are pet owners. A not-for-profit animal rescue organization based on Long Island called The New York Bully Crew, is making its friends on Facebook aware of the animal rescue efforts in effect in NYC following Hurricane Sandy.

Facebook and Twitter are among the online destinations where outreach groups are better able to make their programs known and it's through using these <a href="http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151287098420610&set=o.279298835461146&type=1&theater">social media tools</a> that those people who are able to benefit from these programs and possibly reunite with their pets, can.

Whenever help is rendered to those who need it, it's the goodwill of the individuals who deliver the aid that really shines through. In the case of those animal owners who left their homes and pets behind, there is some extra assistance in effect that will give you comfort in knowing that you have the support.

NYBC followers and friends are encouraged to help all they can with the current <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/New-York-Bully-Crew">animal rescue efforts</a> by posting and reposting some important information submitted by the Pets Left Behind Hotline, which offers special services to Manhattan residents.

New Yorkers who feel as though they or someone they know can benefit from the services previously mentioned can call the 24-hour Pet Rescue Hotline. The hotline is a partnership between several groups that include: the ASPCA, HSUS, The Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, NYC Animal Care & Control, and NYC Veterinary Emergency Response Team.
