A sign language interpreter is someone who translates messages between a deaf and a hearing person. In other words, he helps them converse by making both parties understand each other. The deaf have an added advantage when it come to communication as they can see the people they are communicating with, and can tell whether the conversation is going well.

The deaf or rather the hearing person should be able to trust their partner and the message they pass. If not, one may have wrong intentions and therefore pass wrong message with the aim of jeopardizing the conversation.

Being partners they should have understanding of their responsibilities and come up with a way of dealing with their differences or rather disagreement, otherwise, such cases might scare the other party making them leave.
