- Get Exposure On Facebook
Facebook is on track to be the first social network in human history to have a billion active users. Only India and Indonesia have more people in their country than Facebook has users!
Facebook is no longer just for kids. Almost fifty percent of Facebook accounts are held by people over thirty. To promote BeachBody on Facebook, follow these tips:
- Create a fan page for your business. A fan page offers more functionality than a standard, personal Facebook account. - Publish instructional content on your fan page that teaches networkers how to build their businesses.
- Use your fan page to generate leads for your BeachBody business. Offer the people on your fan page a free video series or other free training in exchange for their contact information.
- Your blog and Facebook can work together to heighten results. Make sure to add a lot of high quality content to your blog. Put a Facebook comment box below each blog post. After someone makes a comment about your blog post, the comment can appear on the commenter's Facebook account. The viral marketing of this will bring still more visitors to your blog. You can generate a lot of free traffic to your blog this way.
- Place ads on Facebook. Facebook ads are a cost-effective way to generate results. I know people that generate dozens of leads every day on Facebook.
The biggest mistake network marketers make on Facebook is spam. Never attempt to stick something on someone's Facebook wall that is a promotion for your BeachBody business. NEVER email someone you don't know on Facebook to promote your BeachBody business.
- Make Attrition A Non-Issue
Attrition can make growing your BeachBody business every month very difficult. BeachBody business builders are taught two tactics to boost retention, but each strategy creates other problems.
1) Method one is to assist new BeachBody distributors to make money right away, so they get an early taste of success and want to stick around. By attempting to get every new BeachBody distributor making money right away, you end up devoting a HUGE amount of time on the people least capable of sponsoring new BeachBody reps themselves. This takes focus away from your best people, the top 20% of your BeachBody downline that will drive 80% of all your income. Spending most of your time on the weakest 20% of your people just fosters dependency.
2) The second approach is to get your BeachBody downline members to feel part of the team, something bigger than themselves, so they want to stay part of the group. BeachBody team webinars, live training events, and getting on the phone with your new people can all foster a team experience. This strategy can foster dependency. You'll end up with many underperforming team members who stick around for the team connection but sponsor few or no people into BeachBody.
You're a business owner, not a group therapist. A contrarian but effective approach to the attrition problem is to revise your business model not to boost retention, but rather to make retention much less important. To make retention less important to your business, promote affiliate products that can easily add a dozen or more new streams of income. By diversifying your revenue sources, you are not as reliant on BeachBody for income. Attrition becomes a smaller problem when you rely less on your BeachBody downline for residual income. Another solution to your attrition problem is to promote a high ticket direct sales opportunity (sometimes called a top tier) that pays commissions of $1000 or more per sale. Traditional network marketing opportunities like BeachBody pay out only about $60-$120 per new signup, so you must develop a large team and residual check to make a substantial income. If you earn a commission of $800 or more each time you sponsor a new rep, it's like you're earning 3-4 years of residual income checks up front, so it doesn't matter if this new person quits, because you get paid so much up front. This approach makes attrition almost irrelevant to your business!
- Develop Into A Leader
The only people that make real money in opportunities like BeachBody are leaders. There are two strategies to learn how to lead:
- Learn from other leaders. Find role models who are top producers. Find a way to get around the people you intend to model.
- Take on leadership roles. You will learn through experience. Webinars and other trainings can never replace true experience.
Develop your mentality Your leadership starts with your belief in yourself. Cultivate an inner fortitude to succeed despite any things that get in your way.
Some of the people your sponsor will just quit. You've got to persist and never let these people impact your energy or results. Set an example.
People are going to look at your actions and results, not just listen to your words. Execute each day on the tasks required to succeed. Don't just describe what needs to be done. Do the work! Teach others what to do to succeed. Don't make the mistake of building the business for somebody else.
Describe to your BeachBody team what you do every day to create results. Send instructive emails. Assist the people in your BeachBody team who are getting results.
