Interesting Adventure Books For Summer Reading

Do you know about "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". It is one of the most famous adventure books in the market. It is a book authored by J. K. Rowling and Mary Grandpre. Harry Potter, an 11-year old boy is seen as the hero.

Another interesting one is "Treasure Island". It is a pirate story written in English. The characters in it include Jim Hawkins, Captain Smollett, Dr Livesey, Squire Trelawney and Ben Gunn. It aims at teaching the young ones some facts about friendship, courage, honor and other virtues of life.

Another one is the "Adventures of Huckleberry". The authors of this book are Mark Twain and Guy Cardwell. Mark Twain, in this book narrates an adventure in the Mississippi Valley. Many people who come across this one have a lot of positive remarks about it. No wonder it has a high vote for becoming the great American novel.

"The Princess Bride" is written by William Goldman. It is a story mixed with love and challenge. It talks about a disappointed princess who got married to a handsome prince, only to realize latter that he was not the kind of person she wanted. Can true love be linked with social status or physical appearance? Read the book and find out by yourself.

"The Last Olympian" is written by Rick Riordan, another great author in literature. It talks about the battle between the half bloods and the titans. It features Krono's army, the evil titan's power and the monster Typhon.

There are other adventure books like "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". This one was authored by C. S Lewis. He uses characters like Peter, Susan, Lucy and Edmund to show some adventurous acts. The adventures of Peter, Susan, Lucy and Edmund began after they went to the magic wardrobe. Most Narnia fans would love this one because of its excellent quality.



If you're looking for great fiction for teens and young adults, then you should consider reading "Revealing Eden", the first book in the "Save the Pearls" series penned by Victoria Foyt, a popular author of <a href="http://www.victoriafoyt.com/">American author</a>. She is also a film writer and star, has written for many notable periodicals, and has been featured in a wide range of magazine articles and newspaper stories along with appearances on numerous talk shows.
