Should Business Owners Be Anxious Of The New Google Panda?

by May Anne Fraser

Google Search lead man Amit Singhal in one interview said that Google creates up to 500 algorithm modifications in a year. This is not unexpected knowing that Google wants the best search experience for its end users. Just recently, Google released 40 alterations to the search experience. Most of these changes focused on improving the user interface. For instance, soon there will be larger images for the thumbnails, local prediction for trending searches, amongst others. As far as the search ranking positions in Google is concerned, the recent changes included an update to the Google Algorithm, Panda.

Should Website Owners Be Wary Of The New Panda?

Many website owners are watchfully watching the effect to ranking of the new Panda upgrade. According to Google, the new update will make the Panda system more exact and more responsive to recent changes on the web.

The two words that web site owners need to cautiously watch out for are correct and recent. When Google Panda was released last year it impacted websites which predominantly depended on content from article farms. Article farms provide free content but the superiority, timeliness, and significance of these content are more often than not out of focus. Those websites which regularly wrote onsite and offsite timely content didn't feel the Panda kick in whatsoever.

Sites Aligned With What Google Wants Endure Algorithm Updates

Website owners should not feel afraid that some big modifications are happening if solely they are buddies with Google. To be buddies with Google is to be liked by Google. And to be liked Google, sites simply need to give what Google desires. Google wants just one thing and that is content. Frequently updating one's website with excellent content that users can profit from will make Google rank this website high.

What does a appropriate content seem like before Google's eyes? One resource to use is Google Trends, which gives data on searches and topics which are trending over the web given a specific time period. Remember, websites that offer high quality content that are appropriate and timely will obtain Google's vote as being the authority site.
