Mlm business opportunities: how to tell the good from the bad and find the best mlm company

Multi level marketing also referred to as mlm is hitting the Internet hard but with so many showing up how do you know the right ones to invest in.

These mlm opportunities drop in and out all of the time. We see so many start up but not so many last, why is this?

What I like to call traditional multi level marketing and network marketing has been worked hard for many years before the Internet. These were solid businesses built on personal recommendation and hard work was no secret

What you tend to find happening now is the Internet has created the lazy marketers, full of hopes and promise which nobody can deliver. Mlm, once a serious business has been slightly crippled by fast start scams and below par contenders.

If you search the Internet you will notice that there are thousands of these mlm style businesses out there, with hundreds being added every week. Anybody can now set one of these up them self, simply get a site with the correct code and back end software running, have a product, and off you go. Unfortunately, this is what is happening but the products are not any good which is causing many of these to fail, giving the lazy marketer different platforms to jump from.

The true back bone to any mlm platform is not the pay plan like you would think, it is in fact the product. If the product does not hold huge value or it is not in high demand or unique, then the platform will struggle. The product needs to offer longevity, quality, and uniqueness.

It is no good saying that the pay plan is not important, it sure is, it just means that the product is vital to be right before anything else, including the pay plan.

So just how does the lazy marketer come in to this? People want everything for nothing, it is human nature to desire and to do little to get. So many marketers are offering this through mlm programs with many promises like, simple push button system, earn money over night on auto, this kind of thing.

To really work a successful mlm business it takes hard work by many people. The better opportunities tend to have a flag ship product at a low to medium price, along with a great pay plan. A large amount of the success of these kinds of platforms is down to the fact that the company and marketers advertising it are honest in the fact that it is hard work and requires dedicated staying power to be successful.

This is only the beginning of the in and out platforms with little or no product. It is a shame because as they start up and die out so quickly they continue to duplicate the lazy marketer system which causes harm.

So to make sure you avoid being the lazy marketer in <a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mlm'>mlm</a>, make sure you are with the right group. First look at the product and make sure that is right, then check out the past on the company, then check the price point is reasonable for many, finally look at the pay plan, but if all else is correct this will be rewarding anyway.
