It's a solid wager that from all the guns you've gotten from fallen enemies in Call Of Duty MW3, most likely less than one percent of the time you've ended up with the L86 LSW in your hands! It's the very first light machine gun that is accessible in the game leaving most players with the impression that it is therefore the worst and most ineffective .

The problem is that since it does start off so heavy, slow and racked with recoil so few gamers end up levelling it up to the point at which the most incredible attachment is unlocked. The strange thing is that the attachment we are discussing here is usually not very good on many other guns! So what is the product of crossing the worst machine gun with the weakest attachment? Just the best combination in the entire game!

Yes, the L86 LSW with the Thermal Scope attachment is like a machine gun sniper. Using the thermal scope in combo with the Grip attachment means you can stand fully erect and be shooting a person on the other end of the map and your aim will keep completely on target. This literally turns it into a machine sniper!

I actually like to go with this gun without the grip, instead using the silencer (with the attachments perk). The the recoil is still brought under control by the thermal scope and using the silencer you can creep around the map plucking enemies off from the shadows. It's just so much fun!

I have centred my assassin class around this gun, it really is that good, along with Blind Eye Pro, Assassin Pro and Stalker Pro. This way I stay off the map and radar and there is also the extra perk that I can shoot almost any killstreak out of the sky as a result of the extra damage that blind eye pro gives and the enormous magazine of the LSW.

So what are you waiting for? Slip in your MW3 disc and start levelling your LSW up so you can get that thermal scope happening and you can start pwning all the noobs!
