Webinars have much more going on than you might initially think. This gets back to old fashioned marketing except you are giving an oral presentation, basically. The beginning may seem a bit unnerving, but you will find that it gets a lot easier. You need to learn to be persistent when you want to find success with your webinars. So you have to plan this around who you are marketing to and their general likes and dislikes.

Also, it is a little boring when all people can do is listen without seeing anything. You do need to follow some certain criteria for your slide presentations though, like with your organization. Avoid putting too much information on a slide because that can decrease comprehension. Remember they are listening to and reading the slides at the same time.

When you conduct a webinar, don't stress out because it will help with your communication skills. One time I listened to a person who was conducting his first webinar.

You can drop the ball with webinar registrations just like you can with asking for an optin to your email list. Nobody will sign up for an opt in list if lots of specific personal information is required. It's an extreme scenario but you get the point in terms of the amount and the nature of the information you should be asking for. Same with the webinar, you can kill the response by asking for too much. Usually webinars don't require a lot of information. So definitely never ask for too much and only what is absolutely needed to get them in the door. One of the best ways that you can market your services or your products to your target audiences is with webinars. Even if you haven't used webinars before now, this is a great opportunity to start doing so. It's pretty simple to conduct a webinar of your own but be prepared to step outside of your comfort zone. You have probably attended at least one webinar before now. So you have a good idea of what they are all about.
