Every person in this world has a story to tell. They could be melancholic, happy or adventurous, all with their own distinct experiences. In some cases, people reveal more than they intended by telling such tales, while others are very glad to share them with others. Individuals mostly tell the most heartwarming stories, because it is easier to share good moments than bad ones.
Tales may not define the individual personality, but they always show the inner feelings and aspirations. If somebody always tells happy tales, they are mostly dreamers or those out to motivate others around them. On the other hand, some are always negative, hating on every fiber of society. Such individuals are mostly frustrated and not contented with who they are.
Family related tales are what build people into becoming who they are. Most people would go to any cost to try to have a past with them because they would like to know every contribution made by their ancestors. For some, they discover nice things that do not need some fabrication to make them appealing. Others on the other hand get so frustrated such that they either keep quiet about them or simply add some lies here and there.
Creating family histories helps in linking the past, present and the future. Even if the individual children were not yet born when some of the events happened, they increase their sense of belonging. As such, this brings the family closer together for the good of all parties involved.
They learn their culture and feel the need to exercise it. Individuals determined to know their history would take any opportunity to record them out. Since some are not recorded, family gatherings and other reunions are the best times to get some tit bits from here and there.
