Corporate gifts that promote awareness about the environment are valued more by those who receive them. Nowadays, a number of companies have embraced the trend of giving ecologically friendly corporate gifts. This move is very timely, as the entire planet is now awakening to the devastating effects of all our past actions - actions that now cause above normal levels of climate change and irreversible environmental damage.
Thus, in this light, all items that can slow down the impact on environmental damage would truly be valued. In the corporate world's tradition of gift giving, there is now a great shift towards eco friendly corporate gifts, raising the demands for these items. Moreover, a number of people appreciate these items better because these eco friendly gifts are usually novelty items made with unique designs and from unconventional materials.
Social responsibility and environmental awareness would be developed in the consciousness of employees who receive environmentally friendly corporate gifts (perhaps as tokens of appreciation) from their employers. Moreover, if business partners and customers receive eco friendly corporate tokens, they will tend to patronize a business establishment more because most people would prefer supporting businesses that also give something back to nature.
Corporate tokens - especially items that promote environmental consciousness - are another way that companies can encourage their brands. This form of product promotion can save a business establishment a substantial amount of money, considering that conventional television and billboard commercials are too costly to produce. The following are several examples of environmentally friendly corporate tokens: stationery made from recycled paper, recycled tote bags, novelty items made out of bamboo (USB sticks, lighters, and pens), natural fiber t-shirts, wooden pen caddies, and solar-powered clocks.
The long-lasting impression that eco friendly corporate tokens leave on the recipients is a very positive one. Even though they may be a bit more expensive than the mass produced plastic products out on there and even though they may be more difficult to find, eco friendly corporate gifts are worth the effort and money spent in having them as gifts.
